Connie has appeared in a number of hit television series, including: Mohololohadi, Izo Izo, Zone 14, Rhythm City, The Housekeepers, Grassroots, Marvel movie “Black Panther” and Gomorrah.
The veteran actress' death was announced by her family on Instagram on Tuesday this week, shortly after her passing.
The statement said Kony died in hospital but did not give the cause of death.
