The 1991 season was a special one for Kaizer Chiefs, with the club winning multiple trophies including the league title.

He and fellow striker Shane McGregor were key to Amakhossi's title challenge.
Madida's standout performance in the season that won him the Golden Boot award was a 3–0 away league win on 27 April 1991.

Later that season, Mada scored Kaizer Chiefs' second goal in a 2–1 win over Orlando Pirates in the Challenge Cup final.
Mada scored in Kaizer Chiefs' 3–0 win in the opening game of the 1992 season on 15 February 1992, and joined former Orlando Pirates player Alfred Jacobs in winning four consecutive Soweto derby games. He was one of only two players to score.
