Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said it was “very good” to have Mohamed Salah back in the squad for the Europa League last-16 first leg at Sparta Prague.
Salah sustained a hamstring injury while playing for Egypt at the African Cup of Nations in January.
He returned to action on 17 February when he came on as a substitute and scored a goal against Brentford, but has been sidelined since then due to muscle fatigue.
“Mo went on a trip. He was with us and practiced for two days,” Klopp said.
“He's full of energy. We'll have to wait and see, but it's very good to have him back. It's really good for us and you can see he's very happy.”
“It's a very unfortunate situation. [him] I've been out for so long.
“He had a great game at Brentford, but then he got sent off again.”
Salah, 31, has scored 19 goals for Liverpool this season, including 15 in 21 Premier League games.
The forward's return comes with a trip to the Czech Republic before league leaders Liverpool host second-placed Manchester City on Sunday.
The Reds then play the second leg against Sparta Prague before facing Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
“We want to be careful and we have to be careful. [with Salah] But we are in the middle of a very intense period of the season,” Klopp added.
“We need everyone, so let's see how long we can use him.
“It's the same for him and the others. That's just good news.”
Asked about concerns about Salah being called up to the Egypt squad during the March international break, Klopp said: “That can't be helped.” [with me] Really. It will be decided in various departments. No, it has nothing to do with that.
“Let's see how long he can play now. As I said, team training is two days. So in a different situation, the players are not in the team at the moment, but we That makes sense in the circumstances.”
“What can we give him? How much can we use him? We'll see.
“Then we have two games against Egypt, but it's not for me to decide, I'm not really involved in things like this. That's being discussed in other departments, so Let me tell you.”
