The event will feature a playlist launch party, high-energy raves, street parties, after-parties and a finale event in Khayelitsha, among other exciting attractions.
Cape Town is famous not only for its natural beauty and historical significance, but also as the Mother City and home to some of the world's most recognised musical artists.
MOM: As part of the event's celebrations, Spotify has launched a dedicated playlist, a curated collection of tracks celebrating Cape Town's diverse and dynamic sounds.
The event is free and open to anyone with an interest in music and culture: all you need to do is register on the dedicated MOM: Mother of Music microsite.
