Leopards, who play in the Currie Cup First Division, have reportedly announced the addition of former England international and Springbok assistant Matt Proudfoot to their coaching staff.

According to one report, this is news 24reports that Proudfoot was officially announced as the Potchefstroom-based team's new head coach on Monday.
Proudfoot was in charge of Mathis' run to the Varsity Cup semi-finals in 2023 and most recently served as Alistair Coetzee's deputy coach for Namibia at the Rugby World Cup in France.

The 52-year-old was previously part of Springbok manager Rassie Erasmus's successful management team at the 2019 World Cup, before working with England under Eddie Jones.
The former Scotland international, who joined from Potchboys High School, made 56 appearances for Leopards at senior level.
