Another Springbok has joined the fathers' club for the first time. Herschel Jantjies and his partner Kelsey have announced the birth of a baby girl.
The 27-year-old rugby star, who also plays for the Stormers, shared the happy news in an Instagram post.
Jantjies was part of the Boks squad that won the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Herschel and fellow Boks players Eben Ezebeth, Faf de Klerk, Handre Pollard and Malcolm Marx recently announced the news of their partner's pregnancy.

Herschel Jansey and Bey welcome birth of baby girl
Herschel Jantjies and Kelsey Thomas shared the exciting news of the birth of their daughter in an Instagram post.
“Alyssa Rose • 01/02/24. Perfect! TYJ for healthy girls,” read a post shared on both of their Instagram pages. The post received likes from various Springboks including Damian Willemse, Handre Pollard and Makazole Mapimpi.

According to their social media accounts, the two have been dating since 2017.
Herschel helped the Springboks win the 2019 Rugby World Cup, but unfortunately he was not selected for the 2023 squad.

Herschel Jantjies will be joined as a new father by fellow Springbok forward Eben Ezebeth and his wife Anlia, who announced the birth of their baby girl last month.
Faf de Klerk and his wife Mine are also expecting a baby girl in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Handre Pollard and his wife Maryse, Malcolm and Kirsten Marx, are expecting a baby boy in the coming months.
