The tow truck driver accused of killing father-of-three Stalin Fasser made his first appearance in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Fasser was reportedly killed on May 12 during an altercation with a First Help tow truck employee.
FirstHelp is a subsidiary of Help24 Holdings that specialises in “personalised and professional security services”.
Hendrik Christopher Joubert, 39, is charged with murder and criminal damage to property.

Joubert, who moved in visible discomfort, relied heavily on crutches to get up from his cell.
News24 previously reported that just hours before his death, Mr Fasser had been enjoying time with friends and relatives and spending the day with his family.
The day took a dark turn when he and his partner Farahnaz Davids went to their local supermarket to buy a cake to celebrate Mother's Day with their mother.
Ms Fasser reportedly got into an argument with Joubert outside the supermarket after Joubert reportedly made sexual comments about Davids.
This prompted Joubert to allegedly assault Fasser at multiple locations, including at Sophiatown Police Station.
The case was adjourned to May 31 for a bail application.
Mr Fasser's brother Elton told News24 his family was saddened by his attendance at Thursday's hearing.
“The pain has never been more raw as we relived the events of that horrific day. We also had to face the smug look on the face of a perpetrator who showed no signs of remorse.”
“This will be a long and emotional journey for us, and we will have to relive Stalin's death over and over again.,” He said.
