Democratic Alliance (DA) leader John Steenhuisen reiterated the need for change when he met party supporters at Bloemfontein City Hall last night during the party's Rescue South Africa tour.
Accompanied by members of Congress and some members of the provincial leadership, Mr Steenhuisen told a packed town hall that the people of the Free State and Manganese in particular were suffering under the ANC's leadership.
Mr Steenhuisen told the rally that it was time for the party to right the wrongs caused by the ANC.
“And to be honest, after 30 years of ANC corruption and ANC mismanagement, the odds are stacked against the people of the Free State. Perhaps more than anywhere else in South Africa, the Free State has suffered the greatest ANC mismanagement.” It has been damaged.”
“This state has a strong claim to be the least well-governed state in the entire country. And we have good governance in Africa as well, with Mangan, where we are tonight, being the most poorly managed state in the entire country.” It was recently confirmed that the metro is bad. And this is despite the fact that Bloemfontein is located in the heart of our beautiful country,” Steenhuisen added.
Free nations have all the other ingredients needed to be a thriving place, but they lack the most important element: a government that works for the people.
