Siphiwo 'Spich' Nzawumbi's weight loss journey is one of the most inspiring on the internet.
The veteran TV and radio personality said the journey began in January 2023 and with determination and discipline, he made lifestyle changes and lost an incredible amount of weight.

From the beginning, Spich has been open about her weight loss journey, sharing her progress and motivation with her social media followers.

Spich said he weighed 160kg when he began his fitness journey, adding: “My goal is to get to double figures by the end of the year.” [2023]. “

Spich generously shares weight loss tips with her followers and has always stressed the importance of professional guidance.
“Consult a specialist. I am not an expert, I am just sharing my story. If you have any complications or any special medical condition that requires special care, consult your doctor before embarking on this journey,” he advised.
He started by practicing intermittent fasting, meaning going without food for set periods of time each day.
“Intermittent fasting changed my life. First, I reduced my eating from 3-4 meals a day to 2 meals a day. I only ate between 12pm and 6pm.”
In addition to changing his eating schedule, Spich said he's also made big changes to his diet.
“I cut down on sugar, especially the processed sugars found in junk food and alcohol,” he said.
Spich said exercise also played a key role in his weight loss journey.
“Exercise is so important – not just for weight loss but for mental health too,” he explained.
“You need to be as consistent as possible. Follow the program and don't stop when you start seeing results.”
