By Friday night, Spotify announced that the album was the most-streamed album of the day, making Swift the most-streamed artist of the day as well.
The 34-year-old billionaire is one of the smartest users of social media in the music industry, using his huge online presence and songwriting to create so-called “Easter eggs” and hidden gems. They create a sense of intimacy with their fans through messages.
“I have written so many painful poems over the past two years that I wanted to share them all with you. So here is the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. Additional Songs 15 songs. And now this story is no longer mine…it's all yours,” she posted as she shared more music.
Swift's album comes on the heels of an incredibly successful and busy year for the artist, where “Midnights” won her record-setting fourth Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
She had the first tour to break the $1 billion mark and is on track to earn her second billion by the time it's over.
Swift also released two highly successful re-recordings of her early albums and broke box office records with the Ella Tour movie.
But she also ended a six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn, followed by a relationship with frontman Matty Healy in 1975, which ended dramatically.
She is currently dating NFL star Travis Kelce, whose Kansas City Chiefs just won the Super Bowl.
And all dramas are immortalized in song.

“Sensational and sad”
When announcing TTPD, Swift said it would be “a new anthology of events, opinions, and emotions in fleeting, fatalistic moments that are both sensational and sad.”
“This period in the author's life has already ended, the chapter is closed and boarded up.”
Combining the roots of 2020's “Folklore” with the heavier synths of her more pop-oriented work, Swift spilled the tea on both Alwyn and Healy.
'So Long London' is a painful afterthought to the breezy 'London Boy' from 2019's Lover.
“I stopped trying to make him laugh/I stopped trying to punch a hole in the safe,” she sings on the former song, bidding farewell to the home she once shared with Alwyn.
Alwyn and fellow actor Paul Mescal revealed in 2022 that they had a group chat titled “The Tortured Man Club,” leading some to think the album's title may be a reference to that. .
Her take on Healy is sharp: “And I don't want you back/I just want to know/If the purpose is to make my bright summer rust,” she says in “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”, but she portrays herself as an equally troublesome character.
For LA Times pop music critics, Swift's confessional style is raw and refreshing.
“In an era of stan culture running wild, it's thrilling to hear a superstar address his followers like this,” a critic wrote in a review.
“Swift isn't looking to improve on these songs, which depict emotional trauma and its aftermath. Rather, she takes a perverse satisfaction in refusing to learn the lessons of others. It is.”
Florence and the Machine make cameos on the album, and Post Malone also appears on the opening single, “Fortnite,” which also comes with an upcoming video.
She also addressed her highly publicized new relationship with Kelce.
In “The Alchemy”, she describes the dopamine rush of a new love and says, “Honestly, who are we to fight alchemy?”
“He just runs to me.”
