Pop icon Taylor Swift's father has been accused of assaulting a paparazzi photographer in Australia.
Ben McDonald, a Sydney paparazzi, told Australian National Television that he filed a police report claiming Scott Swift punched him in the face.
“In the 23 years I've been doing this job, I've never been physically assaulted, let alone punched in the face by my father,” ABC quoted MacDonald as saying.
New South Wales Police said in a statement that they are investigating an alleged assault by an unnamed 71-year-old man on Sydney's North Shore.
New South Wales Police said in a statement: “Police believe that at approximately 2.30am on Tuesday 27 February 2024, a 71-year-old man assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Pier before leaving the area. We have been told that there are suspicions.”
