Tebogo Thobejani has set up a foundation to help victims of cyberbullying.
The actress has been vocal against cyberbullying and recently took to her social media accounts to speak out against it.
“It is very important to educate the younger generation about accountability in the digital space,” she told TshishaLIVE.
“Personal grudges often lead to innocent people being victimised and unfairly punished. At the Botlar Foundation, we are committed to educating children about these situations and will continue to work with the government to promote stronger anti-bullying laws.”
In April, she spoke about the issue of cyberbullying and how it affects people.
Tebogo is also a victim of cyberbullying and can empathise with other victims.
“It's important to address serious issues. Social media can be fun, but it also has a dark side. It can cause depression, break families apart and even lead to violence.”
“Cyberbullies want attention but in reality they have no right to judge others. It's time to hold them accountable. It won't be easy, but I am committed to making our city safer. Together, we can ensure a better future for the next generation. Thank you for your support,” she wrote.
