Benoni Town Bowling Club would like to invite you to our annual Golf Day on February 15th at Benoni Lake Club.
The event will raise funds to host the International Disabled Bowls (IBD) World Championships from May 18 to May 31, according to chairman Kevin Uren.
“As a self-funded club with no support from local government or sporting bodies in SA, we are looking forward to the support of businesses and individuals to upgrade our facilities to a world-class standard to make the Benoni community our host club. Thank you for this prestigious tournament,” Uhren said.
The club is expecting bowlers from 15 countries.
Shotgun is at 11:00 and costs R1 600 per four ball. Sponsoring a hole costs R3,000 for par fours and fives and R5,000 for par threes.
A practice round on the putting green costs R5,000.
Interested businesses and donors will also have sponsorship opportunities by displaying their brand at the venue.
“We look forward to working with everyone on this project. Thank you for expressing your friendship for the community and sport through this donation.”
