What will happen in Bridgerton Season 3?
After the incident at the Featherington Ball in season 2, Penelope is heartbroken when she hears Colin declare to his friends that he will “never pursue her romantically.” This, combined with a rift with her best friend Héloïse, sends her into a dark state.
According to the official synopsis, Penelope enters Season 3 ready to let go of her longtime crush on Colin. Instead, she turns to find her husband who will support her unconventional double life as Lady Whistledown, away from her family's surveillance.
Despite her efforts, Penelope's attempts to secure a mate on the marriage market fail and her confidence is shaken. Meanwhile, Colin returns from her trip transformed and full of her confidence, only to be disappointed by Penelope's cold treatment. Wanting to repair their friendship, Colin offers to coach Penelope in finding her husband and giving her confidence. But as her efforts produce unexpected results, Colin struggles with the nature of his feelings for Penelope.
Further complicating matters is the strained relationship between Heloise and Penelope, who find solace in an unlikely companion. As Penelope's social prestige grows, maintaining her persona as Mrs. Whistledown becomes increasingly precarious.
