The new season marks the return of 'Muvhango' with a new logo and title sequence.
SABC 2's hit soap opera, Muvhango, The new season is scheduled to come back this Monday, August 5th.
The show has been on the air for 27 years since it first aired in 1997, but has been off the air for the past few weeks due to a payment dispute.
But at the launch of the new season a few days ago, creator and executive producer Duma Ndlovu said the show has taken a step back to prepare for a new era.
“We have come a long way. MuvhangoWe have always listened to what our audience wants.
“Growth and development Muvhango We have always responded to our audience.”
The renovated “Muvhango”
He said viewers should expect a flashier and bolder renewal of “Mavhango.”
“What you're going to see this season is more dramatic change and growth than you've probably ever seen before. Our viewers asked us to be hipper, younger, more fashionable and bolder.
“They wanted us to continue telling the story. They didn't want to lose the DNA of the show, but they wanted to add some glamour to the show. So we've got a new logo and a new title sequence, which I think people are going to love,” he said.

“Muvango”: Characters new and old
Legendary actress Leleti Khumalo is one of the newcomers this season. She plays Dr Nonhlanhla Simba, a construction tycoon who will shake things up with some exciting new storylines and twists.
The show also sees the return of some talented actors who previously appeared on the show, including Lloyd Nedje and Lebo Tisane.
“So I decided to bring back some characters that I’d been with before, a tall, stocky guy called Lloyd Nedohe is back.
“He was with us about 10 to 15 years ago and we remodelled and changed his personality,” Ndlovu explained.

Look who's back!
Also returning this season will be Gabriel Temzani, who left the show last year after 23 years.
Temzani said he was happy to be back and tell a story that resonated with people.
“This is another opportunity for us to showcase our talent, represent our people, tell stories that resonate with our people, stories that unite South Africans and create meaningful and meaningful dialogue.
