DJ Zinhle and the late rap artist Keenan “AKA” Forbes' 8-year-old daughter, Cairo Forbes, has won the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in the “Favorite African Kids Influencer” category.
“I want to thank my family and everyone who voted for me. I am so happy and thankful for everyone's support. I hope I can inspire other kids to dream and have a family that will support their dreams,” Cairo said.
“Thank you God for all your blessings. This is for my dad!” she added.
Cairo received his award at a viewing party held at Montecasino in Fourways, Johannesburg on Tuesday. The awards ceremony took place over the weekend at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
