The former minister's culinary portfolio is publicly available on social media.
Former finance minister Tito Mboweni may have talked about what's next for him in his career after candidly saying his budget speech days were “the unhappiest days of my life!”
Mboweni resigned as the country's finance minister in 2021.
Although he received no sympathy from social media users, with some saying he was crying crocodile tears, on Tuesday DJ Zinhle (real name Ntombezinhle Jiyane) shared the opportunity with those who know how to use the kitchen. That left a lasting impression on the former minister.

DJ Zinhle shared on social media that he is looking for someone to give cooking lessons.
“That said, you will need to learn from the comfort of your home. Cairo and I will learn together,” she said.
DJ Zinhle's post got the attention it needed from her followers as people looking for opportunities shared their cooking portfolios and others sent recommendations.
Among the nominees was former finance minister Tito Mboweni, who has delighted social media users with his cooking skills.
Mboweni knows how to use the kitchen in his own way.

Just yesterday, Mboweni stuffed chicken with garlic (his favorite food) and large onions (for extra flavour) and shared an image of it on social media, telling his critics: You of little faith! ”
The finishing touch was an okapi-like knife.
Before that, Mboweni grilled tin fish (also his favorite food), but unlike his other dishes, this was not his plan.
“This wasn't the plan! It's a complete disaster! Sem!”
During his time in parliament, Mboweni trended on social media after declaring he had received sardine snack baskets and cookbooks from Lucky Star executives, while other MPs received blankets and phones.
