Tony Forbes, the father of slain rapper AKA, sent a birthday message to the mother of South African DJ Jinle via Instagram on Sunday, January 28th.

Tony Forbes sends birthday wishes to DJ ZINHLE's mother
AKA's father Tony Forbes sent a sweet birthday wish to South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane (popularly known as DJ Zinhle's mother) on Sunday, January 28th. DJ Zinhle's mother shares the same birthday as Zinhle's daughter Kairo Forbes' father, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, commonly known as AKA.
AKA was shot dead on February 10 outside the Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. Sunday, January 28th was the rapper's 36th birthday. He was murdered just two weeks after his 35th birthday. So this was the first birthday celebrated by his family after his death.
DJ Zinhh dedicated a sweet birthday post to his mother. She shared a photo of her mother holding her second daughter Asante, whom she shares with musician Bongani Mohosana (also known as Maada Bonds).
“Happy Birthday to my amazing mom ❤️ Happy Birthday to my sister Jabu. I love you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!,” she wrote.

AKA's father thanked DJ Zinhle's mother for being there for his family in the comments section of the post.
Tony commented, “Happy Birthday Auntie, God bless you and thank you for being there for us as the Forbes family ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
