No, it's not Amazon Prime Day or Black Friday, but Target is hosting yet another Circle Week sales event that runs through Saturday, April 13th. Amazon held its spring sale two weeks before his, so it seems natural that Target would follow suit. Good news? Discounts on some popular tablets, headphones, and kitchenware.
There are some caveats: Must be a member of the target circle. However, it's free to join and provides guaranteed savings throughout the year. Unlike previous Circle Week deal events where you had to clip the deal to your account first, these will be applied automatically as long as you're signed in to your Target account.

tablet and laptop deals
We think the new iPad series, including the new Mini, will launch sometime in May. It's worth waiting if you want the latest, this model still works fine. The 2021 Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends) received a makeover similar to the iPad Pro with slim bezels. The 8.3-inch screen is portable and helps you get things done thanks to the A15 Bionic processor inside. The processor is fast enough to handle most demanding apps and games.
The 9th generation iPad is cheap at $250, but the 2022 base iPad has been improved and now supports USB-C for charging, making it a good value, especially at this price. The rear camera has been upgraded from 8 megapixels to 12 million pixels, and the front camera is centered in landscape mode, so you don't have to readjust your position to make video calls. It also finally comes in a fun color instead of silver or pink, which is usually a sad attempt by Apple. (Still only supports first generation Apple Pencil.)
This is my favorite tablet under $200, and this deal brings it down to under $100. It's not our first choice. Amazon devices push Prime services and apps frequently, not all Android apps are available, and workarounds are required to get the Google Play Store. However, if you need an inexpensive tablet to play games or watch movies, this is it. If you're OK with a smaller, less sharp screen, the 2022 Fire HD 8 is discounted to $65 ($35 off).
Amazon has two versions of the children's tablet (Regular and Pro) in multiple sizes. This regular one is perfect for little ones from 3 years old to her 7 year old or so. Same as the standard version, but with added kid-friendly perks like a rugged case, 2-year replacement warranty, and 1-year Amazon Kids+ for children's media. The Fire HD 10 Kids Pro is perfect for older kids between the ages of 6 and 12. This is out of stock from Target, but you can get it on Amazon for $150 ($40 off). The 8 Pro is also discounted to $100 ($50 off).
The older version of the Pro 9 is our choice for a laptop/tablet hybrid. This version has a faster processor. It runs Windows, giving you peace of mind when doing heavier work on a 13-inch screen. It has a built-in kickstand, but if you want a keyboard you'll have to buy it separately.
This is an older version of the Aspire 3, which is currently recommended as a good cheap laptop. The screen is a little lackluster, but the 12GB of RAM is plenty for this price. However, if you're not in strictly Target shopping mode at the moment, the 12th Gen version is discounted to $359 from Walmart.
headphones sale
The Beats Fit Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommended) are some of the best-sounding earphones we've tried at this price. It's comfortable for almost any workout scenario and has 6 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation turned on. They also come in fun colors like neon yellow and coral.
AirPods Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommends) can reach a list price of $249, but they're frequently discounted from $190 to $200, so this is more in line with the regular price than a deal. Still, if you're in the market for some new headphones, these are solid and much more comfortable in your ears than regular AirPods. This model has a USB-C charging port in the case, so you don't need a Lightning cable anymore.
Typically, you'll find these earbuds for around $200 instead of the $250 MSRP. When we reviewed the Powerbeats Pro in 2019 (8/10, WIRED Recommended), we really liked them because they had a 9-hour battery life, sounded great, and fit securely in your ears. They're starting to get a little dated now and don't have active noise cancellation, but they're still great earphones if you need extra security.
Kitchen and Houseware Sale
KitchenAid mixers come in several sizes and types, but this is the only one that's currently discounted. It has 11 speed settings, and the 5.5-quart bowl is a good size for baking cookies and dough unless you're baking for a particularly large group. A KitchenAid is an investment, but it should last forever.
While this isn't an unusual sale, it's generally the Keurig we recommend if you only need one drink. Its narrow width allows it to fit perfectly on narrow countertops or desks. They usually come in more fun colors, but most are currently out of stock at Target. You can still find it on Amazon.
Dyson's stick vacuum has received a lot of praise, and we like a lot of vacuums, but this upright vacuum (9/10, WIRED Recommended) is the best for cutting pet hair. It's perfect. WIRED writer Jayna Gray says it's the only way to combat frizzy rabbit fur. Neither the canister nor the roller head ever clogged or tangled. Not being able to connect to an outlet is convenient, but it's also nice not having to worry about charging the vacuum cleaner in the middle of cleaning.
We're big fans of Target's home brand, and these percale sheets are my personal favorite. Sales don't happen often, so it's best to buy sets as needed. Percale is a type of cotton weave that generally produces cool, crisp sheets. I found that to be accurate here. It's not hard and crunchy, and you won't feel hot or itchy even if you sleep with it on all night. I also really like the linen sheet sets, but they only have a few sizes in stock right now. Other bedding items are also 30 percent off.
If you already need to go buy things like laundry detergent, toilet paper, and other general cleaning and kitchen supplies, you can get $15 back to use later.
