Marom Bector died in a car accident Wednesday afternoon.
Tributes are pouring in for Lesotho-born musician Bokang Moleli, better known as Malome Bector.
of Dumeran The hitmaker, who was previously signed to Ambitious Entertainment, died in a car accident in the Free State province on Wednesday afternoon.
Ambitious Entertainment announced the news of Vector's passing in a heartfelt statement, offering condolences to his loved ones.
“It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of a shining lighthouse. The sun has set on Lesotho's Lion. Our deepest condolences go to his loved ones and colleagues in the industry at this time of deep loss. Rest in peace Malom Bector,” the statement read.
Marom Bector was reportedly travelling with singer Puleng Phufolo and three other men, including singer Rizwi Wokkala.
The Free State provincial health department confirmed in a statement that three men died at the scene and another man and woman were taken to hospital.

Tributes pour in for Marom Bektor
Since then, fans and other celebrities have taken to social media to pay tribute to the late singer.
“A terrible loss of the legendary Maromvector. A truly sad leap year,” Botake wrote.
Mnguni added: “Malom Bector changed the world of Hip Hop. He was a lyrical genius and a proud Lesotho rapper and singer who stayed true to himself. Rest in peace King.”
Marom Bektor's music career began at a young age, when he rose to fame after releasing his debut single. Dumeran Signed with Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2020.
He has since been nominated for a number of awards, including Best Artist, Duo or Group in African Traditional Music at the 2021 All Africa Music Awards.
His most famous song is Nobody and The price to paywhere he performed with the duo Blaq Diamond.
On March 28th of this year, Malom Bector released an EP. 1964It features a fusion of Afropop, R&B, soul and Afrobeat.
