On his father's birthday in 2023, the singer wrote a heartfelt note in which he described his father as his spiritual twin.
“This man is my spiritual twin, just like my son…we are babies born in November. All three of us,” Unati wrote.
She had a good relationship with her late father, who was her moral compass, confidence, style icon, and sound mind.
“Guys, I love my dad because he's a dad to my sisters and me and a great dad in that regard. When I get annoyed by my bravado, it's because he raised me this way. Please know that it is because of the Scorpio friend who gave it to me.”
About a year ago, Unati and her family celebrated her son's return from elementary school.
“Thank you to all our friends and family for sharing this special moment with us. Thank you to Embo Initiation Academy for caring for our sons with dignity.
“You truly deserve the title of the best entry-level school in the country,” Unati said.

Friends and members of the media showered Unashi with words of comfort as he mourned. “Sissi, my condolences to you and your family. I love you,” dancer and actress Kabonina Khubeka said.
“Unati, I am so sorry, this is heartbreaking and I send my love to you all,” Renate Sturman wrote.
Actor Thapelo Mokoena commented on Unashi's post: “My condolences to you and Unashi's family.”
Comedian Celeste Ntuli, newsreader Mel Barra, reality TV personality Brynette Seopela and many others encouraged the media personality.
