On Monday night, February 12, hijackers seized Leigh-Anne Grobler's white Toyota Fortuner with her two dogs inside in the Val de Grace area of Pretoria East. The incident, which Debbie Carter shared in a social media post, happened exactly at 7:25 p.m.
Stolen dog description:
The missing dogs, both microchipped, are a white and brown female Boston Terrier known as “Nugie” and a female Schnauzer known as “Bella.” Unfortunately, neither dog was wearing a collar at the time of the theft.

The vehicle in question is a white Toyota Fortuner with registration plate YJR 431 GP. According to a social media post by Debbie Carter, the stolen vehicle was last seen at 76 Hardekur Street in Val de Grace. Observers noted that the hijackers were heading towards Losou Road (nearest from the exit ramp) leading to Mamelodi. Furthermore, the owners strongly suspect that the assailant is on his way to Mamelodi, or potentially Elsters.
