South Africa is mourning the death of actor and director Timmy Kwebulana, with his family thanking the public for their support.
It's been an incredibly difficult two weeks for the South African entertainment industry.
This comes after it was confirmed that another veteran actor, musician and director, Timmy Kwebulana, passed away on Thursday night.
His family confirmed in a statement on Friday that he had died after a short illness.

“We thank him for his life and contributions to our family and the arts and entertainment industry for nearly six decades,” the family said.
“May his legacy continue to inspire us and those to come.”

The Kwebulanas said they knew they and their relatives would receive many messages of heartfelt condolences.
However, they have urged their colleagues in the media and entertainment industry to allow the family time to come together and sort out their plans and how to move forward.
“More details will be announced at a later date. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation,” the family said.
“He will be remembered for his talent and dedication to his craft.”
Kwebulana was best known for his supporting roles in television shows such as; Fish Feshun and Majinho.Q.
He played the role of Vla Vic Tau, founder of Shooting Stars FC, in the e.tv drama series. Shooting Starfrom 2007 to 2010. He also guest starred in an episode of the Mzansi Magic comedy show. Shandy's 2012.

In a message of condolence regarding X, the SABC said it learned of Kwebulana's untimely death with sadness.
“He will be remembered for his talent and dedication to his work. Our condolences to his family, friends and fans,” the state broadcaster said.
Kwebulana's death comes as the nation mourns the deaths of veteran actors Sello Motloung and Darlington Michaels.
Appearing on South Africa's staple TV show, Motloung said: generation, Isidingo, Rhythm City, wifeand numerous other shows, he collapsed and died at his Johannesburg home on the afternoon of September 8th.
Michaels said, Isidingo George “Papa G” Zamdela was admitted to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto after feeling unwell.
