This time hackers have figured out a way to access unreleased characters and skins in exchange for a completely ridiculous amount of damage. And his publisher, WB Games, is reportedly issuing DMCA takedown notices for any assets leaked online.
A hacker has discovered a way to play as Deathstroke, IGN reports. He is one of four characters that developer Rocksteady Studios has teased for the upcoming Suicide Squad season. There were also unreleased skins for Joker and King Shark that people somehow accessed. Of these, on April 4th he started spreading on Reddit and his X/Twitter.
Shortly thereafter, the assets were removed and people believed that WB Games was behind the strike.YouTuber TrixRidiculous, who primarily covers DC and Marvel related RPGs, posted on X/Twitter Promptly removed due to DMCA strike“I posted three photos on Twitter,” TrixRidiculous told Kotaku via email. “Maybe within 30 minutes he got a DMCA strike from WB Games. [Kotaku saw a screenshot of this notice]. That's all I was trying to do anyway, so be aware of the fact that the leaderboard is full of hackers/cheaters who have been unbanned since launch. ”
This sentiment is shared across the game's official subreddit, with people posting that they've “lost interest” in Suicide Squad due to hackers flooding the leaderboard.
