Former Soweto Gospel Choir member Lehakoe Tladi has broken her silence and is pleading for help to improve her life.
This comes after a video showing her appearing intoxicated and distressed went viral on TikTok earlier this week.
In another video posted to TikTok on Wednesday, Turadi shared his story in hopes of receiving help.
She said after glamorous years with the Soweto Gospel Choir and her own shows in Germany, she lost her job and returned to her home in QwaQwa in the Free State.
“I've been at home for years now. What I need is help to find work. I also became depressed and turned to alcoholism so I need help with that too. I need to get rehab and get back to work.”
Tuladi said he now lives with his mother and siblings, all of whom are unemployed.
“All of this has put me in a situation that I can't cope with anymore,” she added.
