Sunny, warm and cool weather is expected across most of the country, with a high fire risk in the north-central Northern Cape, the South African Weather Service said.

Very high fire danger conditions are expected in the north-central Northern Cape.

Gauteng It will be sunny and cool, but warm in parts of the north. The expected UVB sunburn index is very high.
Morning fog is expected across parts of the Escarpment and Highveld areas. MpumalangaElsewhere it will be sunny and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the Lowveld.

Northwest and Free State It will be cool and warm.
Northern Cape Mostly sunny and cool to warm, but partly cloudy and hot in the west, spreading to the east in the afternoon. Winds along the coast will be moderate to strong from the south to south-easterly.
Western Cape It will be cloudy with scattered fog along the south coast in the morning but otherwise sunny and warm, except for the northwestern inland where it will be hot. In the afternoon, it will become partly cloudy over the western and central inland.
Winds along the coast will be moderate to strong from the east to southeast, but north of Cape Columbine will be weak from the northeasterly, becoming moderate from the northwest in the evening. The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.
The western and eastern halves Eastern Cape Sunny and warm, but cooler in some places in the north. Winds along the coast will be light and variable.
Morning fog possible in inland areas KwaZulu-NatalOtherwise it will be sunny and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the Northeast.
Winds along the coast will be light to moderate westerly to northwesterly initially in the north, moderate to strong northerly to northeasterly elsewhere, strengthening in places south of Cape St. Lucia.
