West Bromwich Albion further cemented their place in the Championship play-offs with a double of the season against Coventry City.
Albion took the lead from the moment on-loan Celtic winger Mikey Johnstone curled in a beautiful curl after just six minutes.
Grady Diangana then scored from close range before halftime to make it 2-0. On this occasion, the Coventry defenders saw Tom Fellows' cross from the right side blocked by a dummy at the near post, leaving the Albion player standing in the goal area.
Haji Wright gave Coventry hope with a 73rd minute penalty after Casey Palmer was brought down under a challenge from Cedric Kipre.
The Baggies won their 12th of 18 home games in the Championship this season, with eight points against ninth-placed Coventry, who suffered a second successive defeat on Friday night after bogeying at home to Preston North End a week ago. Made a difference.
