Siya Kolisi has shared rare footage of SA football great Benny McCarthy's perfect encounter with the Springboks in Scotland.
South African football icon Benni McCarthy paid a surprise visit to the Springboks ahead of Saturday's final international rugby union match in Scotland.
The powerful Boks defeated Wales 45-12 and showed no mercy, ending the year on a high note.
Of course, the formidable Benny McCarthy is a national treasure in his own right.
To this day, the former Bafana Bafana striker remains the South African national team's all-time top scorer with 31 goals and is the only South African to win the UEFA Champions League while playing for Porto FC.

A satisfied Siya Kolisi shared on his Instagram a photo and video clip of Benny stopping by a Springbok training session and wished the boys all the best in the game.
The Springbok captain cited Beni's role in inspiring South Africans to dream big, breaking down barriers with his bravery from Hanover Park on the gang-infested Cape Flats to Old Trafford.
“My brother! It's so nice to be able to spend time with you in Scotland. Thank you for visiting, brother! We love and appreciate you. Unknown to many fans of the two sports icons, Benny and Siya have already been close friends for many years.
As a sign of their bromance and continued support, the two-time World Cup-winning captain referred to Beni as “my gaji” in a reply to a Manchester United photo post shared by the footballer last year. ” (my blood).
On the eve of his 47th birthday earlier this month, the football hero spent some quality time with Siya and their children in Scotland.

Benny officially parted ways with Manchester United at the end of June after two shocking seasons as the Red Devils' first-team forwards coach.
During his two-year stint at Old Trafford, he gained valuable experience and tactical knowledge, working alongside world-class managers such as Ten Hag.
His stint with the Red Devils has come to an end and speculation is rife about Benny's next move.
South African fans are calling for the humble Hanover Park-born star to return to his home country, where he enjoyed success as AmaZulu manager several years ago.
With love in Scotland
Benny's presence in Scotland, on the other hand, is hardly surprising.
In May this year, he and his leggy blonde wife Stacey Munro announced 10 years since the former Bafana Bafana legend said “I do” to the former Miss Edinburgh (wearing a Scottish kilt!) celebrated the year.
He and Stacey have a 12-year-old daughter, Lima Rose, and a 5-year-old son, Rio Romero.
Beni also has three daughters, Mina, Miya and Allegra, from his marriage to Spanish artist María Santos, whom he met after moving to Spain to play for Celta Vigo in 2000.
