The faces of two suspected “hitmen” who were previously identified as “the perpetrators of the murders of popular South African rapper AKA and his friend Tibbs” were recently published on Facebook.
Did these “hitman” suspects kill Aka and Tiz?
on monday, Swatini era Members of the Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPSS) recently announced the arrest of two suspected “hitmen” who were living in hiding. The South African brothers, aged 28 and 29, are believed to be from Durban and are wanted by police for information on murders, including the murders of a musician and three taxi operators..
The two reportedly have information about what happened the night Keenan Jarryd Forbes, alias Keenan Jarryd Forbes, was murdered in 2023. The slain rapper was shot dead on a Florida road along with his long-time friend Thebelo 'Tibs' Motsoane.
However, the KwaZulu-Natal provincial secretary, Lieutenant-General Mkhwanazi, recently dismissed claims that the “hitman” in question was someone who was involved in the murders under the alias Tibbs.by SAPS websiteMr Mkhwanazi said the recently arrested suspects “face charges of murder and attempted murder in the shooting death of a male passenger in a vehicle in Berea (Durban) on 6 March 2023”.
Social media users were curious to see what the suspected killers were doing as they took a nap recently. While some believe that AKA and Tibz's killers are still at large, others are convinced that this is not so easily the case.
Take a look at the reactions from social media users below…
“Big-headed Bheki Cele could not do this job. Tanzania gave us Thabo Bester. Now, Eswatini gave us alias Killer. What a waste of money!” @Sandiso__N wrote.
“SAPS must arrest the remaining opponents in the interrogation room as there are still ‘suspects’ remaining at this time of year,” @IAMTHEEPREACHER commented.
“They should tell us who hired them,” @TurnUpGvngstar said.
