Why Meghan Markle skipped King Charles' visit
Grant Harrold, King Charles' former butler, claims that Meghan did not accompany Prince Harry on his visit to the UK because he had to do it alone. Prince Harry arrived in London on Tuesday, February 6, and had a 45-minute meeting with his father, King Charles, following his cancer diagnosis.
According to the New York Post, Harold said: “Meghan has decided it's best for her to stay home with the kids, and maybe Prince Harry feels this is something he has to do alone.'' ” he said.
“His father. She knew of their close relationship and probably encouraged him to come over,” Harold continued.
