Over the years, he has made headlines for his extravagance and has been called one of the richest businessmen in Zimbabwe and Africa. Just one day after blessing his immediate family with the car, he took to social media to show off his newly purchased 2024 Maybach S680.
He bought his children a new Mercedes-Benz GLC300d for the school run. Chivayo also gifted his younger brother a new Mercedes-Benz C200.
Wicknell Chibayo wrote on Instagram: “Maji Baba… 2024 Mercedes-Benz S680 Maybach V12… If you have R6 million to spare, go and buy one for yourself… You won’t be disappointed… NDICHA RAMBA NDICHI PISA.” he posted.
Ever since photos and videos of the sleek German beast were posted on the internet, they have received thousands of comments and reactions. Fans immediately flooded his comment section with congratulations, while others begged the tycoon to gift him a car.
Since last year, he has gifted cars to several Zimbabweans and this has quickly become his signature. Stars who have received cars from Wicknell Chibayo include Jah Praiza, Sangla maestro Alec Macheso and Suleman Chimbetu.
This is Wiknell Chivajo's second Maybach purchase this year. He splurged R7.5 million on a stylishly customized Mercedes-Benz Maybach S680 in January.
However, confirmed reports say the base price of his new purchase is R6 million. After all, Wicknell Chivayo appears to have a strong spot at Mercedes-Benz.
His flashiest Mercedes include a R9.5 million 2023 Mercedes-Benz G63 Brabus, a R7 million Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS600, and two Mercedes-Benz Maybach S680s.
However, his fans objected to the purchase, believing that the 'color' of the car meant it could be the latest addition to his impressive fleet in South Africa.
