Former Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Roach is set to make his debut for new team Mamelodi Sundowns against the Buccaneers!
The diminutive winger joined the Brazilian from Pirates in a blockbuster deadline-day transfer in January.
Mamelodi Sundowns host Orlando Pirates at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday night and Rulani Mokwena has revealed he could give Roach his debut against his former team!

“He (Rorhi) is training with the team like the other players and seems to be in good shape, but from a physical point of view there is still a lot of work to do,” Rulani Mokwena said on Radio 2000. Ta. citizen.
“His performances will speak for themselves and he knows that. He has a responsibility like many players and meritocracy is very important at Sundowns. He has to work as hard as any other player to earn and deserve a start.”

In other news, Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Mankoba Mgukiti is extremely impressed with Bafana Bafana winger Oswin Apolis.
Apolis made his Africa Cup of Nations debut in South Africa's penalty shoot-out victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo in the bronze medal match.
The Polokwane City midfielder was brought on in the 58th minute and certainly left his mark on the experienced Mamelodi Sundowns leaders.

“I thought we made some very smart changes in the second half. Both Monare's changes and Apolis's changes were big,” Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqiti said. Idiski Times.
“For me, this boy is the boy who will carry the future. If Apolis had had more chances in this tournament, I think he could have done a lot more for us.
“He could have even had an assist in this game. I should have seen it. [Jayden] Adams, I believe that learning would have helped you in this game. ”
