Hours before she walks on the Miss Universe stage, Chidinma Adesina posts a motivational post on her Instagram account.
The former Miss South Africa finalist is excited about her glamorous journey as her dream finally comes true.
In a long note, the Miss Universe Nigeria talked about how she almost gave up, but the support she received kept her going.
“In 2017, I had a dream of walking on the Miss Universe stage even though I had no idea what it meant to be a queen. Seven years later, exactly eight days later, I, Chidima Vanessa – Onwe Adesina will be walking on the Miss Universe stage.
Chidinma said he is proud of himself whether he wins or loses.
“Whether I win or not, I am so proud of myself and filled with great joy and fulfillment because I am about to achieve something that once seemed impossible. I envision a moment and I try to make it a reality.”
“This journey has not been easy for me mentally and emotionally. The tears, the pain, the trauma. The days when I felt like giving up, the days when I felt worthless. Even on days when I feel unworthy, I refuse to let anyone or anything cloud my vision.
Ms. Adesina further said that her achievements are not just for her, but for Africa and Nigeria.
“This achievement is not just for me, but for Nigeria and Africa. Your support and encouragement has been the fuel for my fire. To anyone who has ever doubted themselves, I Look, I believe in you. Your dreams are valid. Don't let fear hold you back. Don't let doubt stop you. ”
