World Athletics is launching a new podcast as part of an ongoing series of content on Inside Track, the exclusive pan-area platform providing access to all athletics.
The World Athletics Indoor Track Podcast begins with a four-part series covering the events of the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow 24. The show is presented by Richard Ross, an Olympic and world 400m gold medalist who competed in the 2014 World Indoor Championships and his two European Indoor Games. 60m winner Richard Quilty and three-time Olympic medalist Kelly Sotherton.
The trio will be trackside in Glasgow providing unique insight into the most important moments of the event, and the podcast will also feature interviews with a range of special guests including athletes, legends and coaches.
Fans will be able to tune in as well as get behind-the-scenes insights from Richards Ross, Quilty and Sotherton across all the usual podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and the Sport Social Podcast Network. Watch the show on the World Athletics website.
Following Glasgow, the podcast will feature some of the biggest names and beloved figures in track and field, past and present, including World Athletics president Sebastian Coe and global superstar and 100m and 200m world champion Noah. A series of in-depth interviews will be distributed. There are many fans of Lyles, as well as famous people in the sports world and famous celebrities.
The presenter line-up evolves with each event, so expect to be on the podcast when the World Athletics Relays return to the Bahamas in May 2024. Later this year, the all-star cast will provide reactions to the event. Paris Olympics.
