The festival includes 20 performances, over 60 free and paid workshops, 13 internationally based performance companies, 1 New Mexico company, 2 world premiere shows, and over 90 performers. will appear.
Festival Flamenco Alburquerque (FFABQ), now in its 37th year, is considered one of the most prestigious festivals of its kind and features many of the world's most prominent flamenco artists.
Expect unforgettable performances from an incredible range of artists, including traditional interpreters. The festival showcases a diverse range of interpretations of flamenco, including groundbreaking avant-garde artists and up-and-coming artists. Thrilling new performances by visionary artists such as 2017 Spanish National Dance Award winner Manuel Linhão, 2019 Spanish National Dance Award winner Estevez y Paños, Mercedes de Córdoba and María Moreno pushes the boundaries of the art form.

experimental theater, Tablao Flamenco Albuquerque, located inside the Hotel Albuquerque, offers late night tablao. With the city's involvement, the 2023 Festival Flamenco Alburquerque has an estimated economic impact of $12 million.
The 25th Flamenco Kids Camp and the 5th Festival Juvenir are open to children and youth. Albuquerque Festival Flamenco has something for everyone, including the Flamenco in Your Neighborhood series, featuring free classes and outdoor concerts produced in partnership with Bernalillo County, the City of Albuquerque, and Taos' Wildflower Playhouse. The National Institute of Flamenco (NIF) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has developed into an internationally significant arts organization unparalleled in the breadth and depth of its programs. NIF is home to the Flamenco Arts Conservatory and the Jastros: American Flamenco Repertory Company, a dance company currently based in UNM's theater and dance department. Our institute is proudly affiliated with UNM. UNM's Department of Theater and Dance is home to the only accredited dance program in the United States dedicated to flamenco.
