Singer Zandi Khumalo has publicly criticized veteran actor Sello Maake Kancube for abusing his estranged wife Pearl Mbewe.
Zandi took to social media to express her disdain for the actor, referencing past comments he allegedly made towards her during a difficult time in her life.
“This man spoke ill of me at a very vulnerable time in my life,” Zandi wrote, recalling the legal battle.
She accused Maake-kaNcube of having a pattern of “fucking women” and decried what she perceived to be a lack of respect.
Zandi addressed part of the message to Pearl, expressing sympathy and encouragement.
“I'm sorry for your wife, but I'm glad that I was able to wake you up, Sissi,” he wrote, praying for Pearl's mental and spiritual healing.
Zandi's post ended with a question for brands allegedly associated with Maake-kaNcube, asking if they were still working with him, and seemingly hinting at reconsidering the partnership.
Although neither Sello Maake-kaNcube nor Pearl have publicly responded to the allegations, the post has sparked a discussion on social media about respect, accountability, and the dynamics of public criticism.
